About

I have been teaching voice for classical, musical theatre, choral, and pop singers for more than 20 years.   My degree is from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and I am a member of the New York Singing Teachers Association.  My Carnegie Hall debut was in 2014, and I have given performances in the US, Europe, Canada and Brazil.  I was named to the Roster of the CT Commission on Culture and Tourism in 2011, and I am a recipient of the Hartt School Faculty Development Fund.    I have studied voice with world-renowned singers, conductors and coaches.  My solo recording with Centaur Records will be released in 2024.

My proven step by step method helps singers gain stamina, increased range, flexibility, dynamics, balance of the vocal registers, while observing vocal health and honoring the singer's unique vocal qualities and artistic nuance.   I work with the whole person in vocal pedagogy, vocal health, and artistic development.  I also provide online masterclasses periodically through the year, as well as a Singers Forum, in which singers can present their material in a supportive environment, as they prepare for a concert, role, recording or audition.
