Yizhak Kerem
About
Hi!
My name is Yizhak (Issac) Kerem, I am a 30-year-old splitting my time between Israel and Los Angeles. I have studied at Berklee College of Music where I majored in Music Business and Music Performance. My favorite kinds of music to play are Latin and Middle Eastern but I love all genres.
I have over 10 years of experience teaching trumpet and Hebrew and I have worked with student of all ages and skill levels.
I can teach you Hebrew, Trumpet, or music theory and the lessons can be in either Hebrew or English, whichever is more comfortable for you!
For music:
I taught for 3 years at an Israeli elementary school. I have also taught privately for students of all ages and skill levels.
I place an emphasis on making sure each student has what they need. I focus on teaching proper technique and giving students a solid foundation of exercises to shape their musicianship. No two students are the same and so I shape the lessons around strengthening the areas that each student can improve.
I am comfortable teaching students in both English and Hebrew.
