About

Hello!

My name is Wojciech and I am a composer/producer from Poland.

I am also a performing musician playing clarinet in Klezmafour band all around the world (USA, Canada, Germany,  Netherlands, Spain, England, Ukraine, Turkey, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Luxembourg and Poland) and winning both national and international contests awards.

In my childhood I played violin for 6 years then I switched violin to a clarinet and added a piano. I play clarinet for 24 years and piano for 26 years already.

But my big dream was to be able to compose music.

I have a Master's Degree in composition (graduated from Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw) and certificate of completion "DJ and Music Producer" summer school at Point Blank Music School in London.

I have a QTS = Qualified Teacher Status issued by British Department for Education.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching music theory (music history, music notation, ear training, harmony, musical forms analysis and principles of music theory) as a teacher at Lublin Jazz School and over 5 years of experience as a private online tutor teaching composition, scoring, music production, clarinet and piano.

Music is and should always be fun.

I know that "music theory" term sounds intimidating but I guarantee that it's not that hard to learn.

You can elevate your music to a next level knowing some music theory tips and tricks no matter if you are a performing artist or aspiring composer.

I love technology and I use such software as Avid Sibelius or Ableton Live in my teaching method.

I am patient, and understanding.

My goal is for the student to fully understand the discussed topic and be able to use it in his music right away.

The biggest satisfaction for me is when a student achieves his goal. Even as small as understanding a certain issue.

First of all I always want to get some information from the student regarding his experience with music.

Don't worry. I have worked with both highly advanced musicians and complete rookies.

I do adapt to the student's knowledge level and set the difficulty of the tasks accordingly.

I often use screen and sound sharing mode for the lesson to be completely understood.

I am opened to any questions. Actually I highly encourage students to ask as many as they need.
