When I came to Bill I had hopes and dreams of having the ability to read and play any kind of piano music. As a child, I struggled with reading music during 3 years of lessons with a strict classical teacher but held on to the dream. I have waited over 50 years to live the dream I am fulfilling now. Bill had me reading and playing any piano arrangement I wanted in 3 months. I play classical, gospel, movie themes and more and loving it all. His unique teaching method inspires you with an "I can do this" attitude. He analyzes who you are, your own style and abilities and raises the bar with every lesson. As I play, he shows me how to enhance my performance with every note. He couples insight with knowledge and his 45+ years of experience to create a true pianist. He tells me I am the composer when I play, own the music. He tells me "don't just play the music, become the music". After 2 years of lessons, I am living my dream and preparing for concert level opportunities. Whether young or old (I am 73 years old), Bill can inspire and teach you to play. I often wonder where I would be in the music world if he would have been my childhood teacher. I highly recommend Bill to start your child's music foundation on the right track or for yourself - to live your dream too. Thank you, Bill, for all you do and who you are.

For children, Bill structures his piano lessons so that his students learn their music during the lessons. He uses games, balloon animals, puppetry and magic to make their lessons fun and exciting.

Private studio lessons. 50 years of experience, published composer, teaches most music genres.

His goal is for each lesson to become more and more fun and for his students to learn at a lighting fast speed. His lessons are designed to fit perfectly the musical aspirations of the students and use their inborn talents and learning predilections.  Thanks for these moments.

Ryan review:  Always had trouble sight-reading, Mr. Young helped me improve quickly and do sight-reading with ease. He's the best music teacher I have ever had.

Ryan won on America's got talent and was given a contract to sign to have Simon Cowell manage his musical performing all over the world.

My student, Spencer,  just won a national singing contest with the title best teenage singer in America.
