Will Playford
About
My name is William Playford. I am a 2018 graduate from the University of Arkansas with a Master's degree in French. I teach both French and Music. When it comes to music I teach guitar, bass, ukulele, and basic music theory. I have been playing music for the last 16 years. I have toured the tristate area (Texas, Arkansas, Missouri) with small groups and played at many venues. I teach music now at a private school here in Arkansas.
When it comes to teaching French I tend to lean towards the conversation proficiency side. Though I am not opposed to teaching verbs and vocab, most can learn this content on there own time and free up space for syntax, conversation, and pronunciation work.
With music I start with the basics to gauge where the students' are at. After that I formulate a customizable plan for each one and we practice together from there.
