I am a professional violinist and I am a member of several orchestras in Michigan. I have a Masters degree from St. Petersburg Conservatory in Russia and also a Doctorate degree in violin performance from Michigan State University in USA.
My diverse background allows me to combine best features of Russian and American violin teaching methods. I have successfully prepared students for various challenges. such as local competitions and preparation for entrance exams to musical colleges and universities.
I have experience of working in different countries (Russia, South Korea, USA) and teaching students of various ages and levels - from 4 year old to adults, and from beginners to advanced levels.
While I strive to give highest standard of instruction, I have an individual approach to each student, paying close attention to their personality, needs, and goals. I accommodate all types of lessons; from relaxing and joyful playing to intense training for those who prepare to enter educational institutions with a music performance degree. I believe the lessons should always be filled with positive energy and inspiration, because this is what supports us and helps us to grow and improve.
