About
Hi I'm Sergio, Spanish multi-instrumentalist musician, producer and teacher focused on electric bass.
I've been playing and studying electric bass for many years and have played in many bands of different music genres like, rock, metal, progressive, jazz, experimental and others. I've toured around Spain and have composed two solo albums.
I've been teaching for 5 years, students of every level, from completely beginners to advanced students that want to master their skills.
I'm also a music theory teacher and enthusiast. I've done many harmony masterclasses and I like teaching music theory applied to the instrument while we are learning.
And last but not least, I'm an artist, I love creating music, experimenting and having fun with other musicians.
I like teaching in an ordered, structured and pleasant way. Some people look for shortcuts and tricks that aren't very useful at the end. I will teach you how to be a good musician and how to practice and develop your skills by your own.
I like adapting and preparing specific plans for each student, so the lessons are more enjoyable and oriented towards the student's goals.
You will learn technique, composition, improvisation, theory, bass maintenance (I have experience as a luthier), rhythm, chords, melody, accompaniment, soloing, and everything you need.
I will teach you music theory applied directly to the instrument so you understand what you are playing and you can develop more deeply your style, improvise, compose and become a better musician in general. Everything from a modern (non classical) perspective.
And I will make you develop your creative self, experiment and have an artistic perspective of music.
