Hello,
My name is Pooyan Farzin, and I offer Flute, Traverso and Recorder lessons for beginners and advanced students of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults. I also provide music theory instruction.
I have been working as a music teacher for 17 years as an instructor for beginner and professional flutists. I completed my first Master's degree in classical flute at the University of Tehran in 2016, and my second Master's degree in Early Music (Baroque flute) at the University of the Arts Bremen (Germany) in 2022. Besides my role as a music educator, I currently perform as a soloist and flutist with various ensembles in different European countries.
The lessons are tailored to each individual's needs and interests. The focus is on practical musical development, while also introducing the underlying theoretical concepts. Working on musical pieces develops musicality. These pieces can be short and simple or longer and more complex, depending on the student's level and wishes. Technical exercises and etudes are utilized to achieve a fluent technique.
