I am located in Southern California and I have been playing music since 1967. I have played in numerous bands playing styles of music from rock, country, contemporary, and Spanish music. I am a passionate and dedicated private music instructor who takes great pride in the attention of an individual’s growth, interest, and abilities to bring out their own creative potential for the love of music. With a wide range of instructional materials, I am able to tailor to the individual’s learning style. I offer private one-on-one mobile and/or online music lessons to people of all ages and special needs who are interested in learning the acoustic, electric, bass guitars, lap steel guitar, ukulele, and piano. I also offer group/family lesson discounts.
My experience has been teaching students from ages of 3 years old to 85 years of age. I have and do currently teach students with special needs. The style I use is a very methodical approach. Music can be confusing and having a step-by-step approach is essential to helping others to understand it.
The books that I mostly teach from are Hal Leonard's Guitar Method , Alfred's All-In-One-Course for Piano, Alfred's Beginning Ukulele, and Hal Leonard's Bass Guitar Method
