My goal is to give you the capabilities to have fun and to express yourself with music. Being excited about picking up your instrument and finding the motivation to practice regularly.  You will discover you're capable of way more than you would think. I always keep the lesson's vibe relaxed while still pushing you to explore your full potential.
More specifically, I will teach you how to use your ears to learn any drum groove, how to write it down to be able to remember it and how to read rhythms so you can learn new material from every angle. I also share knowledge I acquiered while studying at Berklee College of Music and skills which helped me building a succesful career in music. All my students will learn how to read Berklee approved drum notation charts, to be ready for any musical situation they may encounter outside of the lessons. Throughout the years, I have taught students from all ages and levels and  designed specific charts and curriculums  to cater to each student's needs. I will share pdf charts after each lesson so you can practice confidently and keep track of what we've worked on during every lesson. I also request you to record yourself playing assignments with your phone so I can give you extra feedback and keep track of your progress!

Berklee Artist Diploma, Summa Cum Laude in 2016.
I have been teaching private students for more than 10 years.
I have been a teacher with the New York City based service "Music To Your Home" for 2 years.
I taught at "Joe's Music Academy" in Queens, NY for over a year.

We'll start with basic charts that I have written, so no need for you to spend money on a textbook yet.

You will simply need manuscript music paper so you're able to practice writing drum notation and creating your own drum charts down the road.

Depending on your goals, I may request you to purchase one or more of the following books:
