Good Day
I am Mark and thank you for checking out my profile.
I directed school music programs for 18 years. I retired from public school and have been teaching privately for over 5 years. I work with 70+ students each week, both online and in person. I have a California Teaching Credential in Music (K-12), and I am a Royal Conservatory of Music instructor. 
As a School Music Director, I taught: Concert Band, Marching Band, String Orchestra, Jazz Band and Jazz Choir, Concert and Acapella Choir, Piano, Guitar, Rock Band, Computer Music, Music Production, and AP Music Theory.

I started on flute in the 4th grade - tuba, and Double Bass in high school. Over the years I have played in a variety of groups: symphony orchestra, string orchestra, concert band, jazz band, rock bands, jazz combos, and jazz choir. I spend my off time producing/composing music in my own recording studio. I attended American River College where I received my Associate of Arts Degree in Music, I then transferred to California State University, Long Beach, where I received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition and began work on my Master's and Teaching Credential in Music.

Piano, Violin, Guitar and Bass Guitar (Acoustic, Classical and Electric),
Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone,
Brass - Trombone, Baritone, Trumpet, tuba
Music Composition, AP Music Theory, Arranging
Music Production using Digital Audio Software (Logic Pro, Garage Band, Ableton Live) = Mac only
Percussion - snare, mallets, drum kit
