About
Born in a Maharashtrian family, I entered the learning tabla at the age of 10. Being a disciple of many Tabla gurus I gained a profound knowledge of Ajrada Gharana. In the beginning, I was not developing an interest in tabla until I started to participate in district competitions. There a spark of success embraced me from which I started to take tabla seriously. I was fortunate to have the blessing and knowledge of many gurus which made an all-around development on me. I also started to give exams in Tabla and eventually completed my graduation in tabla in 2015 from Bruhad Gujarat Mahavidyalaya. I started some vigorous training under his guru Dr. Chirayu Bhole and learned some concepts of Punjab Gharana too.
I won numerous competitions across the country. I also took part in World Culture Festival which was held in 2016 in Delhi. I won some titles like,” Mi Kalakar” (Mumbai), winner of “Kuch Kar Dikhana Hai” (Gujarat).
Being an engineering student, I also won many talent hunts, non-technical competitions throughout my engineering career. I also represented my University in the field of Classical Tabla Solo, in the Association of Indian University which was a national level competition.
I have worked with independent artists across the globe such as Dan Barracuda, Jerome Chauvin, Jessica Stanley. Also worked for labels such as Collective Music Charity (Quebec), White Hill Music (India), The Virtuoso Music (India). I have collaborated with a Bollywood singer, Shweta Subram.
I add his unique taste of tabla to Bollywood songs, game music, ringtones, pop songs, and many more. I mainly play classical tabla but I also want to add my instrument to many other genres of music.
I teach tabla from beginner to advanced level and takes online as well as offline classes along with certification courses from reputed music organizations.
I do stage shows, solo performances, Bollywood cover songs, regional musical shows, and I play in Qawwali, Navratri, Rasiya and more such events.
I have knowledge of the Tabla from many gurus. Hence I now have a detailed orientation of the Tabla. Along with this, I am a constant learner and very clear with my teaching. My practical playing is quite strong which can motivate the students to be like me or any other good Tabla player. I teach tabla from beginner to advanced level and takes online as well as offline classes along with certification courses from reputed music organizations.
I follow the authentic Indian Tradition in delivering the lectures offline as well as online where I give students theoretical and practical knowledge of the tabla. During the class I also make them write the notes and I solve each and every doubt of the Tabla and music according to my knowledge.
