I am a Juilliard trained violist and violinist, and I teach in order to share my love of music with as many people as I can! I teach music lessons online and perform internationally, currently based out of Berlin, Germany and Boston, MA. I work as an academist with the Kammerakademie Potsdam and teach a studio of students ranging from complete beginners to pre-professionals. I specialize in Suzuki inspired teaching, ear training, audition prep, and much more. Whether you or your child is a complete beginner, returning to the instrument, or looking to take your playing to the next level, I would be thrilled to work with you!
Language lessons:
I am a native English speaker with experience living in France for 4 years and in Germany for 3 years. I have passed advanced level French and German examinations and can help you prepare for these as well. I am also available for conversation practice or tutoring.
Music lessons:
I strive to pass my knowledge along to my students, from basic technique to advanced musical concepts. I have experience teaching privately, providing practice help sessions, and in group classes and orchestra sectionals. I grew up learning through the Suzuki method, so I encourage learning by ear and emphasize the importance of efficient and organized practice. In a lesson with me, I would focus on learning classical violin/viola technique in order to produce the best warm and rich sound. I encourage the student to choose their repertoire based on their musical preferences, however I always encourage exploration of the classical genre! I teach with the goal of showing my students how to best improve on their own in their individual practice. A good ear, consistent technique, and beautiful, deep, unique violist musicality will all be my focus in my teaching style! I am also available for practice help sessions.
Language lessons:
I am a native English speaker, and teach English with the experience of the mother tongue combined with experience learning other languages. I was born in Paris and have lived in France for 4 years of my life, and speak French fluently. I learned French as a young child as well as in the classroom, and can pass on this combination of knowledge on to my students. I am currently based out of Berlin, Germany, and also teach beginner and intermediate German. I can offer language teaching as a support to group classes, as examination preparation, or as conversation practice.

Music Lessons:
I teach with personalization to every student. My music teaching method is highly influenced by the Suzuki method as well as the Juilliard Ear Training method. For recommended student texts, please reach out privately, as we will discuss this based on your own personal goals!
Language Lessons:
I mainly teach as a tutor, in which case I will use the texts best suited to my student's goals and level. For further information, please reach out privately!
