About

Welcome to my profile. As a session pianist, I have had the pleasure of working with a range of talented artists across multiple genres. I have performed alongside The House & Garage Orchestra, Jazz Jamaica, and Chineke Orchestra, to name just a few. My experience as a session musician has provided me with invaluable insights and an ability to deliver technically complex pieces of music with ease and grace.

As an experienced and cultured music educator, I have had the privilege of teaching at Tomorrow's Warriors, a renowned jazz education conglomerate, where I honed my skills as an educator while working with some of the most talented musicians in the country. My specialty is in jazz, but I am equally proficient in teaching a wide range of musical styles, from classical to pop.

I have extensive experience in teaching students with varying abilities, ranging from beginners to professionals. I am proud to say that I have trained many students to pass ABRSM and other piano exam boards with a 100% pass rate. My teaching skills have been honed by working with students from as young as two years old up to seventy-two years old.

I have developed a comprehensive understanding of all musical instruments, which makes me a valuable asset to any music education program or team. My passion for music and teaching has led me to become a dedicated and patient teacher who is committed to providing each student with the tools and techniques needed to reach their full potential.

If you are looking for a skilled and experienced piano teacher who can help you achieve your musical aspirations, then look no further. I would be honored to work with you and help you unlock your full potential as a pianist.

My teaching style is relaxed and fun, with an interactive approach that places a heavy emphasis on rhythm and improvisation. I believe in allowing students to make mistakes as a means to discover hidden gems, similar to the teaching methods of the great pianist and composer Franz Liszt. As an educator, I take a sophisticated approach in nurturing my students' piano playing abilities by encouraging the active-listen-style when teaching how to absorb and internalize music. I believe that this technique fosters an in-depth understanding of music theory, which paves the way for unlocking the full potential of my students as pianists. Additionally, I strongly emphasize the role of creativity in music education, and I utilize this concept as a means of inspiring my students to explore their artistic abilities and develop their unique style.
