About
Hello, my name is Dea and I am interested in helping you in your next creative endeavor. I'm great to work with if you have creative projects or school/work/personal projects that involve visual art, film, or writing. I have worked as a tutor covering art, writing, film, video production, film editing, basic 2D animation, photography and photo editing.
I am an interdisciplinary artist and writer. I worked as a tutor for The Art Institute of Houston covering subjects like film and graphic design. I've also worked in New York (for example, when I worked for the New York Film Academy during their summer program teaching kids about film production and storytelling). I now reside in the Los Angeles area.
I love working with people of all ages and backgrounds. I'm frequently complimented on my sunny disposition and friendly, upbeat attitude. I am patient, open-minded, and most of all, creative. I look forward to hearing from you!
My teaching style is personalable and tailored. At the start of a new tutoring relationship, I will work with each student to create a lesson plan for a set period of time (e.g. We may choose to start with ten lessons, so I will create a lesson plan covering your area of interest within that timeframe.)
Though I create and work from lesson plans for each student, I can also assist with one-off projects.
