Bonjour!
My name is Charlotte, and I am a native French teacher and tutor.
Teaching is my passion and I have been a French teacher for 10 years, both in Spain and in the US. I currently teach in NYC. I started to teach online 5 years ago, and I am so far very satisfied of the results.
I worked for 2 years at a French American school with first graders. Since then, I have been teaching at a private institute toddlers, kids, teenagers, and adults, both in class and online.
I am a certified Speedlingua teacher (online platform for listening and pronunciation), and also a DELF-DALF corrector.
I use the inductive method while teaching, which means I help the students to find the rules based on examples seen together. I find it more effective, as the student is active the whole time.
I also use the immersion, which means my class is held in French (the instructions, the grammar, etc.) except for some specific questions where I can help the student with his/her mother tongue (English or Spanish).
The goals are discussed with the students, so he/she has a customized class depending on level, interests, time, etc.
