Hi, my name is Caitlin and I'm a Musical Theatre (and trained opera singer) performer! I have performed in Broadway Tours, Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera across the US, Canada, South Korea, and Taiwan. I have degrees in both Musical Theatre and Opera from Northwestern University and have since also studied the acting method, Meisner technique, with Laura Henry in New York, which I love to incorporate in my work and teaching. I provide fun, empathetic, and supportive voice lessons curated individually for each student's needs from the comfort of their own home, with 2.5 years of virtual teaching experience.
I love encouraging students of all ages and all levels of experience to find their voice and help them achieve the singing and performance dreams. If you need audition or self tape coaching and feedback--I've got you! If you have always loved singing and are curious about trying lessons, I'd love to be your guide to finding your unique sound. My teaching style varies depending on the individual. I'm very detailed oriented, but we'll talk about your lesson goals and decide how to formulate lessons in a way that works best for you. I'll teach you some vocal warm ups and coach you through whatever repertoire you'd like to bring in. If you song suggestions, let me know and I'll find something that suits your voice!
We all bring in our own unique colors, flexibility, and skills to our singing--so my job is to learn what yours are and how to bring them out in your performance in a healthy and supportive way.
