About

My first musical studies took place at different institutions such as the Simon Bolivar Conservatory of Music in Caracas, Venezuela, the National System of Orchestras and Youth and Children's Choirs of Venezuela where I joined the National Symphony Orchestra for Children and Youth of Venezuela and with which I toured nationally and internationally.

Also, I obtained a scholarship to study at the "Emil Friedman" School of Music in Caracas and also joined the orchestra "Arcos y Voces Juveniles de Caracas" in that institution.

At the end of my high school studies, I joined the Latin American Cello Academy and the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE) as an active student, obtaining a degree in Instrumental Performance in Violoncello.

Later, I moved to Barcelona, Spain, to start and complete my Master Degree at the School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC) under the tutelage of Damián Martínez Marco. Also I began my first lessons of Baroque Cello at the same institution under the tutelage of Emmanuel Balssa.

Since I started my education in music, I have been an active student in different Master Classes and I have attended different summer courses, like the Interlochen Arts Camp, USA; the summer courses organized by the Latin American Cello Academy, the summer course "Dúo Aldo Parisot". Also I attended the course organized by the Association of Musical Encounters of Asturias in Spain and The Breathing Bow Retreatvin France, among others.

I have experience in different fields: I belonged to the cello section of the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra (OSV), I also was cello teacher at the Music Conservatory at the Emil Friedman School in Caracas, Venezuela. And out of Venezuela, I also taught Cello at different institutions in Barcelona, Spain, such as the San Marc School and the Music School of the Cim d'Estela Foundation.

Currently, I am an active participant in different ensembles and chamber ensembles. I collaborate with the historical, modern and contemporary music ensembles at the the School of Music of Catalonia and as my current professional focus, I teach private lessons, both in person and through the internet to students from all over the world.

In my lessons, I offer students a fun and effective mind-body integration with the cello. I teach them how to solve passages quickly, find the root of problems, clarify music theory doubts and make the student feel comfortable with the instrument.

I believe in tailoring my lessons to each student's needs and goals, so whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced player looking to perfect your technique, I'm confident that I can help you achieve your musical aspirations.

If you're just starting, I'll make sure you have a solid foundation to take off from!

I'm looking for dedicated students who are committed to long-term progress.

It will be a pleasure for me to work together to achieve your musical goals!
