Amanda Steinemann (BMus in Composition, UVic) loves sharing her knowledge of music with students of all ages and skill levels. She has been teaching violin, viola, and piano lessons through local music schools and privately both in person and online, and enjoys incorporating composition and music theory elements into the lessons. When not teaching, Amanda enjoys composing music for videos and crocheting (while watching movies).
My teaching style is quite flexible, as I like to incorporate pieces or skills that the student is interested in. I have listed some of the books I generally use below, but would discuss methods or pieces during the free introductory lesson or before lessons start!
