The January Snapshot

The first step to achieving a goal is setting it. Now is the time to get started. Set up a time (trial or paid lesson) with a teacher at Lessonface. During your session, record a clip of how you are playing now. Discuss where you'd like to be, and come up with a plan to get there.

The January Snapshot of your playing will be attached to your lesson, and you can come back at any time over the next weeks and years and see how much progress you've made.

It can be difficult to assess progress in our skills, especially when the gains are incremental, as they are often are with music, language, and arts! Having a clear record of where you are today will help you see how far you've come. There is no pressure to share your recording publicly - all lesson recordings are private to your account on Lessonface.
