About Pin Loom Weaving From Scratch: 4x4" Squares

Learn the basics of weaving on a 4x4” pin loom, as well as how to design your own patterns, and use your woven squares.

Class 1 will cover Basic Knowledge:
- Basics of Pin Loom Weaving
- Required yarn
- Two-Layer warp method
- Three-Layer warp method

Class 2 will expand the possibilities with Creative Knowledge:
- Learn to design your own patterns
- Learn to design a pattern collection

Flor says: “After 15 years practicing pin loom weaving, three published books, several patterns and collections, I will sum up all I have learned during these years to make this class available to anyone who wants to learn pin loom weaving and has no experience.”

The capacity for this class is 25 students.


Class Materials

- 4×4" Pin Loom (such as the Zoom Loom or Weave-It), otherwise a template to print and make your own pin loom will be included in the handouts of this class. Zoom looms may be purchased directly from Schacht Spindle at https://schachtspindle.com/products/zoom-loom or any of their dealers.
- DK weight yarn (#4) in four contrasting colors in any material 
- Notebook + four contrasting colors of markers
- Plus: scissors, medium size crochet, yarn needle (3") and tapestry needle (6")
- Print the template that will be sent to enrolled students.
